Besides the Arkansas suburb of West Memphis, the major Memphis suburbs includes Arlington, Bartlett and Collierville in Tennessee ; Horn Lake, Olive Branch and Southaven in Mississippi, in addition to Germantown, Lakeland and Millington in Tennessee. An area of 295 sqmi (764 square km). For the years 2000 and 2010, Memphis had a population of 646,889 and a metro area population of 1,316,100, respectively.
